Founded in 2001, Big Nerd Ranch initially focused their efforts on teaching programming languages. Since then, the company has grown to include consulting, software products and an ever-growing library of Big Nerd Ranch Books. With great growth comes great responsibility, especially to uphold the value of a brand. We were tasked early on to establish their messaging, positioning and aesthetic in a manner that would transition seamlessly across all offerings and uphold the ideals of Nerdy learning and Zen-like qualities.
We’ve delivered a comprehensive business system, print collateral, a website and social media strategies that have complemented the growth and success of the company. The printed pieces with hand-sketched illustrations have landed on the desks of many well-known companies, while the recently redesigned and relaunched website welcomes more than 800 unique visitors per day.
